Agilent Technologies has opened an Advantage Services facility in Hanoi, Vietnam offering calibration and repair services for electronic test instruments.
The technicians and engineers who all speak the local language, are thoroughly trained and have access to Agilent factory engineers. Their calibration and repair processes incorporate the same automated procedures used at service centres and mobile calibration labs around the world.
The new centre adds to more than 50 service locations around the world for the company, making it one of the largest worldwide OEM service networkproviders.with consistent quality results for calibration and repair services.
"Whether your engineers are in Hanoi, Vietnam; Tel Aviv, Israel; or Roseville, Calif., USA, you can count on the same measurement results," said Franklin So, Agilent's Asia region general manager. "Our globally networked automated test procedures measure the actual performance of every warranted specification and adjust them if necessary."
The increased services network provides faster turn-around time by reducing customs delays when shipping between countries, the company said.
