German carmaker Volkswagen has unveiled the new Cross up! prior to its global debut at the upcoming Geneva motor show to be held in Switzerland during 05-17 March 2013.
The five-door hatchback is powered by a 1.0L three-cylinder petrol engine, which will be offered in two output variants including 60hp and 75hp, while is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
Features of the new Cross up! include 16-inch alloys fitted in 185/50 tyres, multifunction display, ESC electronic stability programme, remote central locking, electric front windows, fog lights, electrically adjustable heated wing mirrors, an asymmetricallysplit, a variable-height boot floor and a rev counter.
The new hatchback will join the carmaker's other Cross model line-up including CrossPolo, CrossGolf and CrossTouran models.
According to the carmaker, the new model is scheduled to go on sale in Europe from late summer in 2013.
