Berry Plastics, a manufacturer and marketer of value-added plastic packaging and engineered materials, has announced the introduction of its latest innovation in the medical tapes industry.
The new 3537A, a breathable flexible film tape, is the latest addition to Berry's line of medical grade pressure sensitive adhesive tapes for OEMs and converters.
Its formulation makes it a suitable adhesive solution for a range of applications including surgical dressings and incises drapes, said the company.
Berry Plastics product manager Jill Robbie said they were pleased to add 3537A to its offering for medical OEM applications.
"3537A offers a number of key attributes such as breathability and flexibility thus making it ideal for wound care, surgical dressings, incise drapes, and even transdermal overlay applications," Robbie said.
It features breathable copolyester film, non-reflective and suitable for extended wear applications while being conformable and flexible to provide better comfort to the patient.
