Executives from global water technology company, Xylem Inc., will participate in keynote addresses, leadership forums, workshops and technical sessions at the IWA World Water Congress & Exhibition, which is about to take place in Brisbane, Australia.
The congress and exhibition will take place from 9 – 14 October and Xylem, a platinum sponsor of the event, has exhibition space in booth 401 at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. The company will feature selected technology from its portfolio of products and services and showcase Xylem’s capabilities across the water cycle. Also featured will be Xylem’s work to help provide safe water resources to local communities in need through the company’s corporate citizenship and social investment program, Xylem Watermark.
During the course of the congress and exhibition, one of the issues that Xylem will explore is the importance of understanding lifecycle costs when evaluating water infrastructure investments.
Xylem is the main sponsor of the Emerging Technologies & Innovation Forum (ET&I) on 10 – 13 October. This event will feature selected start-up technology companies pitching their new ideas at the pavilion. The company’s executives will also present seven academic papers during the event on topics ranging from advanced drinking water treatment developments and sustainable water reuse solutions to cloud-based lifecycle cost benefits and intelligent wastewater pumping.
