Gainco, a US-based manufacturer of yield management, packing and distribution systems for meat and poultry processors, has signed a distribution agreement with Viking Masek Global Packaging Technologies – a manufacturer of vertical form, fill, and seal packaging machines (VFFS) for the packaging industry.
Under the agreement, Gainco will be the exclusive authorized distributor and reseller of Viking vertical form-fill-seal packaging machinery and systems to the poultry processing industry in the US.
Gainco president said the company is pleased to have been named the exclusive authorized distributor to the poultry processing industry in America.
"The Viking brand is well-respected in the packaging field - particularly the ES, Velocity and other machines that are highly suited to poultry applications. The Viking line is a fine fit with Gainco's own equipment, so we can offer better system solutions as a result," Esch added.
Gainco, a subsidiary of Bettcher Industries, offers design engineering, equipment manufacturing and systems delivery/installation for poultry processing facilities nationwide and outside the US.
