US based consumer safety organisation Rear View Safety, has launched wireless commercial grade sensor system RVS-114, which can ensure safety for commercial and passenger vehicles on road.
The system has been designed for both large trucks and haulers and is equipped with four different sensors, which need to be mounted at the rear of the vehicle.
The sensors are linked to a control box that is connected via wireless technology to a display placed in the front, which keeps the driver informed about what goes on at the back.
The audio-visual warnings can, thus, help avoid accidents between commercial and passenger vehicles.
The control box for the system comes along in a weatherproof casing which allows it to be installed either inside or outside of the vehicle.
Recently, Rear View Safety has also launched back up camera smartphone application GoVue for iOS and Android operating systems.
The app enables real-time transmission of audio and video information from the rear of the vehicle to the driver through short-range Wi-Fi network from the smartphone and camera system. GoVue can thus eliminate the need for private monitor installations in the vehicle dashboards.
