Vehicle technology supplier Visteon is planning to unveil new technologies at the 2015 Mobile World Congress which claimed to improve a vehicle life.
The company will showcase cloud-based connected technologies that are designed to keep vehicles up-to-date with new technologies through 4G LTE.
The new technologies include LTE Multicast, which will facilitate automakers and dealers to broadcast software updates to their entire fleet using the company's Connected Vehicle Hub and LTE Multicast technology.
Visteon's next-generation connectivity module, Wireless Gateway will also be demonstrated at the Mobile World Congress.
Wireless Gateway is capable of managing a complex wireless environment outside and inside the vehicle while providing high level of security and connectivity to the vehicle.
Visteon is also planning to demonstrate SmartCore technology, which is expected to provide connected domain controller, that can integrate driver information and provide connectivity through human-machine interaction (HMI).
SmartCore is also capable of running several domains side-by-side on scalable hardware through different OS.
