Kenworth Truck has introduced a front frame assembly option for its T370 truck, which would allow the body builders to fix customer winch bumpers.
The assembly option includes an austempered ductile iron (ADI) cast front drive brackets, 3/8in thick steel front adapters, improved radiator crossmember assembly brackets, and C-channel front frame sections to attach a winch bumper.
Kenworth medium duty marketing manager Doug Powell said that the T370 front frame option assembly package especially targets customers, such as utilities and municipalities that operate medium duty winch trucks.
"This option simplifies and standardizes the installation of specialty winch bumpers and further expands the benefits and value of the Kenworth T370 for customers," Powell said.
In addition, the new option includes Rams Horn tow hooks and it will be offered with front springs that have a capacity of about 13,200lbs.
