GlassMasters LLC of Corbin, Ky., has been selected by developer Malcolm Bryan Corp. to serve as the glazing contractor for the new seven-story Riverfront Hampton Inn in Owensboro, Ky.
The new facility will be a LEED project utilizing Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope® systems.
The new hotel will sit directly beside the new Owensboro Convention Center and will have a showcase curtainwall overlook to the Riverfront, according to information from GlassMasters. The project is estimated to be complete by October 2013.
“The use of Energy Efficient glass and aluminum framing materials will make this not only a LEED facility but will also set the stage for more hotels of this size to model their facilities in future builds,” says GlassMasters president AJ Carr. “We are excited to begin work on this project … ”
