StarChem LLC — a Wellford, S.C.-based manufacturer of specialty chemicals for textiles, pulp and paper, consumer, and food and beverage, among other applications — has been recognized by Resource Management Inc. (RMI) LLC — a Chapin, S.C.-based provider of environmental, industrial and waste management services — for its recycling and industrial waste minimalization efforts. RMI helped StarChem implement several programs to reuse or repurpose materials typically sent to landfills.
