Australian miner Flinders Mines Limited has announced that it has signed a binding memorandum of understanding with four Chinese steel mills, allowing the steelmakers to evaluate whether the iron ore from Flinders' Pilbara iron ore project in Western Australia is suitable.
Flinders stated that it has so far engaged with over 30 Chinese steel mills and expects several more of them will sign binding MoUs in the coming months, adding that it is also receiving interest from potential Taiwanese, Korean and Japanese customers.
