C Sun lands PSS turnkey order from China Patty Wang
C Sun,a Taiwan-based maker of PCB,FPD and other types of production equipment,has obtained a turnkey order for PSS(patterned sapphire substrate)production,including equipment,related facilities,software,materials and manpower training,from Suzhou Hyperion Geocrystal,a China-based maker of sapphire crystal and wafers,according to the company.
According to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report the order is worth US$5-6 million and C Sun will complete delivery as early as the fourth quarter of 2012.
C Sun generated consolidated revenues of NT$373 million(US$12.5 million)in June,increasing 2.68%on month but decreasing 31.87%on year,while its consolidated revenues of NT$982 million for the second quarter rose on quarter by 30.79%and those of 1.733 billion for the first half of 2012 slipped 28.31%on year.
