Flavorseal, a US-based packaging systems manufacturer, has developed seasoning transfer technology that enables meat processors to meet with increasing consumer demands for new flavors.
The company offers three seasoning transfer products - Seasoned Netting, Seasoning transfer sheets and Seasoning transfer casings.
Seasoned Netting provides forming, shaping and pattern, as well as seasoning and spices for boneless deli meats without an additional step in the processing line.
Seasoning transfer sheets feature a pre-applied seasoning, providing a controlled application of spice to meats like bacon, while seasoning transfer casings have the spice pre-applied to the inside of a casing, which can be individually clipped to operate on most of the processing equipments.
Flavorseal food processing division vice president Dave Wince said, "For processors who are looking for ways to add flavor to their hams, bacon, or deli meats, we have a seasoning transfer product that will let them create new flavored products quickly and easily, and with great results."
The company specializes in food packaging systems and products for the meat and food processing, foodservice, and retail markets providing customized solutions that improve ways to package, prepare and store food.
