Porsche announced the sales date in North American market recently. The company hit the monthly sales record again in January, 2013 after it the whole year sales record of 35,043 vehicles last year.
In January of 2013, Porsche sales in American market were 3,358 vehicles, up 32% year on year, while the sales were 2,550 vehicles in January of 2011.
From the different models, Porsche Cayenne’s American sales were 1,500 vehicles in January, with a rise of 51% year on year compared to 993 vehicles of January last year. Porsche 911’s American sales were 877 vehicles in January, up 28.8% year on year, while the sales last year were 681 vehicles.
In January, Porsche Boxster/Cayman’s American sales were 393 vehicles, grew sharply 127% from 173 vehicles in January last year. However, Panamera’s sales declined to 588 vehicles, down 16% compared to 703 vehicles in January last year.
