Canadian manufacturer of carton sealing tapes Intertape Polymer Group has launched a new 1100 premium hot melt carton sealing tape for optimal closure of highly recycled corrugate, including 100% recycled box.
The proprietary Corru-Grip adhesive technology is said to seal boxes tightly in wider ranges of temperature and humidity when compared with traditional hot melt carton sealing tape products.
PSCST Systems product management director Jo Burgess said they were very excited to launch the Corru-Grip adhesive technology upgrade to their 1100 premium hot melt carton sealing tape.
'It addresses the growing need for a reliable closure solution for corrugated boxes containing a high percentage of post-consumer fiber. Over time, we plan to expand the application of this technology to additional products within the IPG(R) carton sealing tape product category,' added Burgess.
