Netherlands-based self-adhesive labels provider Geostick Group have purchased EXL-Packaging presses from MPS for wider and faster flexo printing.
The MPS EXL-Packaging press is designed to extremely fast change-over times with short set-up waste.
The press can be integrated with UV, hot-air and LED drying technology to print substrates including thin film, paper, carton board, shrink sleeves, in-mould, lamitube and flexible packaging.
Geostick will install one MPS EXL-packaging 570mm, 10-colour press to manufacture large volumes of self-adhesive labels.
Additionally, Geostick’ subsidiary Clever Labels & Flexibles will utilize another MPS EXL-Packaging press for printing flexible packaging. The press will replace the existing MPS EP flexo press.
Scheduled to be fully commissioned in early 2017, the presses are designed to be interchangeable to accommodate demand and variety of required printing jobs within the two companies, MPS said.

MPS offers flexo and offset press solutions for label and flexible packaging printers.
