Italian luxury carmaker Ferrari has unveiled the new version of its 458 called the Ferrari 458 Speciale sports car that is scheduled to debut at the upcoming 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany.
The new sports car will be powered by the naturally aspirated 4.5L V8 engine that generates an output of 597bhp at 9,000rpm and 398lbft of torque, while offering accelaration of 0-62mph in 3 seconds.
According to the company, the car weighs 1,290kg without fluids 90kg less compared to the standard 458 Italia.
Ferrari 458 Speciale comes with new rear diffuser, larger vents in the front and specially designed Michelin Pilot Sport Cup2 tyres.
The vehicle has new electronic feature called Side Slip Angle Control (SSC), which uses the traction control and electronically controlled locking differential to balance the torque between the rear wheels.
Earlier, Ferrari had unveiled the LaFerrari hybrid sports car at the ongoing Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland.
