Australia soy products market will post a better growth rate of 1.17% during 2011-16 as against 1.08% in 2006-11, finds a report by Canadean Food.
According to the report, "The Soy Products Market in Australia to 2016", the value of soy drinks category, within the overall market, will have compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 1.95%, which is more than the growth values of soy desserts (1.29%) and soy milk & cream (1.04%).
The CAGR of soy drinks value will, however, be lesser than 2.10% posted during 2006-2011. Its volume will increase by 1.71% during 2011-16 but lesser than 1.85% recorded in the previous five years.
The 1.29% CAGR of soy desserts market value will be lesser than 1.89% in 2006-11. Its volume of 1.13% in 2011-16 will also be lesser than 1.66% in the prior period.
The soy milk & cream category will witness its growth rate increase to 1.04% in 2011-16 from 0.78% in the previous five years. Its volume CAGR of 0.91% is more than 0.69% in 2006-11.
