UK-based manufacturer and supplier of rigid plastics Kobusch has installed an inline sheet line at its Stanley operation with an investment of 3m Euro.
The new rPET line uses a Vacurema system from Austria-based Erema and SML.
Kobusch UK sales director Tony Mitchell said, "The new Erema system with SML downstream equipment will enable us to continue to increase the amount of post -consumer waste in our rPET production without sacrificing any quality in clarity in the thermoforming process."
The installation is expected to be in commercial production in the first half of 2013, and the line will produce monolayer material from recycled feedstock.
