RKW is all set to introduce the new member of its expanding global family of companies in film extrusion, RKW Danafilms, at Idea 2013 to be held from 23-25 April 2013 in Miami Beach, Florida.
According to the polyethylene and polypropylene films and nonwovens manufacturer, the latest acquisition brings two manufacturing sites in the US and its reputation in the technical films market.
Starting first quarter 2013, RKW will offer its range of Hyfol films to the US hygiene and medical markets from its facility in Franklin, Kentucky, US.
RKW Hygiene business director of marketing and communications Patricia Featherstone said the Idea 2013 show serves as the platform from which to propel RKW Danafilms onto the hygiene and medical markets in North America.
"We are bringing new technology and innovation to the market that prospective customers are eager to snap up," Featherstone said.
