Flynns Fine Foods, a Northern Ireland-based food company, has entered into administration as it experienced deterioration in trading, resulting in the loss of 40 jobs.
Based in Rosslea, County Fermanagh, Flynns Fine Foods packaged and supplied a range of sliced cooked meats, sliced bacon, pork and gammon to retailers in the UK and Ireland. The company was also engaged in the production of frozen foods and catering products.
The company appointed Gregg Sterritt and Stephen Armstrong of RSM McClure Watters as joint administrators.
RSM McClure Watters said that unfortunately Flynns Fine Foods experienced deterioration in trading over the past number of months which resulted in significant cashflow pressures.
"There was no alternative but to make the company's 40 employees redundant on September 5," it added.
