UK-based manufacturer of carton board packaging products Glossop Cartons has confirmed the first production order for a Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine.
According to the company, the Highcon Euclid digital cutting and creasing machine combines DART technology to create digital crease lines, with a better speed and quality laser cutting solution.
Glossop Cartons director Jacky Sidebottom said the company is on look out for new ways to improve its products and services for customers.
"The Highcon Euclid opens up a new range of possibilities for our customers: bespoke packaging, for short runs, pushing design boundaries and being able to respond to seasonal product changes cost effectively," Sidebottom said.
The machine does not require a conventional die, eliminating the time associated with die production and additional machine set-up, enabling better versatility and flexibility to respond to customer needs.
