On August 8th, Baosteel and TBEA signed a new round of strategic cooperation agreement in Baosteel Tower, both sides made in-depth discussions on product R&D, cooperation at home and abroad,etc. They agreed on further expanding and enhancing the cooperative area to improve the product competitiveness and promote the continuous progress of national industry. Chairman of Baosteel Group Corporation XU Lejiang, Chairman of TBEA ZHANG Xin, President of Baosteel Co., Ltd DAI Zhihao, VIce-president WANG Jing, President of TEBA Transformer LIU Hongwei and President of Hengyang Tranformer ZHONG Yanmin,etc. attended the signing ceremony.
TBEA Co.,Ltd is the first listed company in China's Transformer Industry, the core back bone enterprise in China's Major Equipment Manufacturing Industry and the general contractor enterprise of international power turn-key project. It is China's biggest R&D, manufacturing, and export base of transformer, electric wire&cable, new material of high voltage electron aluminium foil and the solar core control unit.
Since Baosteel and TBEA signed the strategic agreement in 2009, they have become the support for each other and strengthened the cooperation with the purpose of"strategic cooperation, mutual benefit, alliance between giants and common development" to assist each other in becoming the domestic leader in their respective fields and a promising competitor in international market.
To consolidate and develop the existing achievements, further expanding the cooperative area and strengthening the competitiveness and international influence in their respective fields, both sides decide to carry on a new round of strategic cooperation, which involves product purchasing, technical cooperation, business development, supply security, visit and exchange,etc. According to the agreement, Baosteel and TBEA will actively explore various joint venture and cooperation, as well as various cooperative areas home and abroad to improve the technology R&D capacity and market competitiveness of their respective products and to promote long-term cooperation and mutual development.
ZHANG Xin points out that TBEA products going from domestic to international is profited from the raw material support from Baosteel.etc. He hopes that Baosteel can constantly blaze new trails and produce steel products with high standard, high quality and high cost performance, assisting TBEA in producing the world first-class products and promoting the competitiveness of TBEA home and abroad. He also hopes both sides can expand cooperative area, realizing mutual benefits and becoming long-term partners.
XU Lejiang is grateful for the support given by TBEA. He points out that the user's requirements are the power and developing guidance of enterprise progress. Baosteel 's acquiring rapid development in oriented silicon steel technology is benefited from the active demands and strict requirements from customers.
