Pressure-sensitive tapes producer in the US, Shurtape has launched its ShurSEAL tape heads that have been engineered with new design features and can be retrofit to a variety of case-erecting and sealing systems.
The ShurSEAL tape heads are available in two models including SP 7000 and SP 6000 and are optimized for automated case sealing and provide a consistent seal, carton after carton.
According to the company, ShurSEAL SP 7000, which is constructed with 100% stainless steel/anodized aluminum for wash-down in sanitary applications, runs at line speeds up to 160ft per minute.
ShurSEAL SP 6000 runs up to 120ft per minute and features a corrosion-resistant mild steel construction for long-term use in most environments.
The tape heads comprise a dual-axis locking mandrel, front and rear tab length adjustment and a self-cleaning safety blade. They resist corrosion, are easy to load and are compatible with all grades of tape.
