Machinery Automation & Robotics (MAR) has announced that it will acquire the business operations of Compact Labelling Systems Australia.
Compact is said to be instrumental in helping transform the Pressure Sensitive Label Applicator industry.
Recently, MAR had signed agency agreements for Baker Perkins confectionery, cereal and snack systems, besides JLS Automation's Talon series of robotic picking solutions in Australia.
MAR general manager Troy Krogh, speaking on the acquisition, said Compact Labelling's business operations will strengthen and diversify its product offer.
