The Sales of Fuso Global Adds up 64.6% in H1 2012

Japan based Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus (MFTBC) has reported 64.6% rise in its sales to 92,944 units during the January to June (H1) 2012, when compared to 56,454 units sold in H1 2011.

The company's domestic sales rose 73.7% in H1 to 18,590 units when compared to 10,705 during the same period in 2011, while its overall market share have risen to 21.2% over 20.3% share in H1 2011.

Fuso's international sales increased 62.5% year-over-year to 74,354 units when compared to 45,749 units sold during H1 last year.

According to the company, its H1 2012 results were contributed by strong growth in Southeast Asia, which is its largest export region, the Middle East, and Africa.

Fuso's sales in Southeast Asia have rose 73.2% to 43,408 units when compared to 25,067 in H1 2012, while it sold 40,702 units inIndonesia reporting 76.5% rise over the same period in 2011.

The company's sales in the Middle East, Africa, North America, Europe, Russia and Australia/Pacific have grown 120.8%, 161.5%, 62.4%, 4.1%, 150% and 2.9% respectively during H1 2012.
