Australia-based Baumann Packaging Systems has announced the launch of its new automatic tamper-evident wrap-around application system ELS 310 C, internationally, as an alternative to conventional wrap around labels.
Germany-based ELS European Labelling System has developed the concept, which has been custom designed as an integrated label & applicator 'solution' and uses a feeding system.
The ELS 310 C machine is suitable for use in conjunction with tray sealing, cartoning, thermoforming of other production lines and can be integrated in to any production line.
According to the company, the machine is capable of accurate application on to trays, punnets, boxes and other shapes and its twin feed belts allow accurate product alignment.
The ELS requires no tooling for change over and its menu structure is organized by control function for quick and easy set-up when changing the label or product.
