Voi Jeans Co launches a new interactive feature ‘The Denim Wall’. This feature launched early September 2012 allows customers to enter a ‘Virtual showroom’ enabling them to browse easily through key denims of the collection. This feature was launched specifically to coincide with the launch of the AW12 range online.
The design of ‘The Denim Wall’ takes inspiration from the Voi Jeans Co showroom at the Head Office in Preston, UK. The showroom was designed to showcase the denims in their simplest form, to buyers, but to also demonstrate the brands washes, fits and more specific design details. Using a chalkboard and chalk design, it is almost taking the consumer back to teaching days, educating them in the making of denim jeans.
The application allows the consumer to step inside the mind of a Voi Jeans Co denim designer and catch a glimpse of exactly what work goes into the ‘engineering’ and construction of a pair of jeans. This new application also adds something extra to the online shopping experience, for current consumers.
Phil Stott, E-commerce Manager at Voi Jeans commented: “With the recent launch of Voi Jeans Co Autumn/Winter 12 range I felt it was a key point in introducing ‘The Denim Wall’ to the online marketplace. Obviously with the influx of interactivity on the web at present from all our competitors, it is crucial we stay on top of our game, and continuously strive to keep up with modern technology. Hopefully the new ‘Denim Wall’ is a step in the right direction for us.”
‘The Denim Wall’ is only fully available to the UK customer at present, with plans to affiliate the application to worldwide consumers at a later date.
