US-based tire manufacturer Cooper has introduced new Discoverer STT Pro variant to manoeuver challenging road conditions.
Armed with a silica-infused tread compound, the new variant of tires are said to display a better wet traction offering a lower rolling resistance that ultimately translate into an improved fuel mileage.
Cooper director of product management Scott Jamieson said: "As part of Cooper's leading Discoverer tire line, the STT Pro delivers exceptional traction and performance in some of the harshest terrains on Earth.
"The STT Pro is an aggressive, high-performance tire that will thrill off-road adventurers with its impressive traction in the thickest mud, across rocky terrain and in all types of challenging conditions. Yet, it delivers a smooth, reliable ride on the street, making this tire an outstanding solution for the growing number of outdoor enthusiasts that will spend at least part of this summer exploring camp grounds, lakes and trails and must get to and from these destinations on the same tire they use for these heavy-duty outdoor adventures."
Designed for catering to the demand born of outdoor adventure, the new variant of tire claims to provide reliability and durability, riding high on Armor-Tek3 feature.
The Armor-Tek3 is said to boost the sidewall and tread area with its mud release dimples and does away with build-up. This is said to offer an improvement in traction in super sloppy conditions.
