Oettinger has introduced the new Volkswagen Golf R500 car at the 2015 GTI meeting being held in Worthersee, Austria.
The super sports car has been developed based on the Golf R400 concept, which was launched last year.
Integrated with five-cylinder TFSI petrol burner, the car features a new turbocharger, with an optimized ECU, forged pistons and an improved cooling system.
With a total of 518 hp and 501 lb-ft of torque, the car also has an upgraded air intake suspension, sports exhaust and improved cooling.
The car has an operating speed capacity of 300km/h and can be accelerated to 100km/h in about 3.4 seconds, when combined with all-wheel drive system and a six-speed manual transmission.
Additional features of the car include new six-piston brake calipers as well as two-piece 380mm ventilated brake discs at the front.
The sports car's cabin has a sporty look with Alcantara accents, revised trim, leather / Alcantara sport seats, new gear knob with an orange contrast stitching and several other improvements.
Oettinger said the car will be produced for customers in limited numbers, priced at around €150,000.
