North American packaging machinery provider Pro Mach has completed the acquisition of the French capping solutions provider Ets. André Zalkin & Cie for an undisclosed amount.
As part of the acquisition, the management team and employees of Zalkin will continue to operate from their facilities in Montreuil L'Argillé and Rueil-Malmaison in France.
Pro Mach held a minority stake in Zalkin before acquiring the remaining stake this week. Both the companies have been associated for more than 40 years that began when Pro Mach's fowler products division and Zalkin formed a partnership in 1972.
Pro Mach, which increased its focus on Latin American and European markets in recent times, produces and supports solutions for primary and secondary packaging, flexible packaging, processing, end of line, material handling, and identification and tracking.
Pro Mach president and CEO Mark Anderson said, "We look forward to working together to accelerate growth and strengthen our position as a global leader in packaging solutions."
