Suspension Brand X-Fusion's Sales Were up 20 Percent Last Year

Suspension brand X-Fusion's sales were up 20 percent last year, the company announced this week. The company said sales were driven by the introduction of three new fork models, steady sales in rear shocks, and growth in the dropper-post market.

"The last two years have seen overall sale's increases, with jumps in both OEM and aftermarket sales," said XF USA general manager Joel Smith.

"But 2012 especially saw a healthy spike in fork sales, which accounted for the majority of our growth."

XF introduced three new fork platforms for the 2013 model year, with two new 29er forks and a new trail 26-inch fork. The company also expanded its rear shock and adjustable-height post line with new models. The company completed a custom pull-shock line for OEM customer Cannondale and is preparing to launch more 650b-specific fork options.

"We introduced our first 650b fork almost six years ago, so we have been on top of this 'new trend' since the start," said XF marketing manager John Hauer.
