As the report also states, the larger 42mm versions of the standard Apple Watch are on back order, while custom Hermes-branded options are also sold out online.
With Apple seemingly no longer replenishing these stocks amid middling sales, it's safe to assume the company is shifting existing inventory ahead of a refresh.
Most observers are predicting an Apple Watch 2 with improved battery life, GPS technology and faster processing tech.
Some rumours have also suggested it’ll boast superior water resistance and a sleeker design.
