Denmark-based packaging company Farch Plast is planning to tap markets beyond the European Union with plans of expanding in Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada, South Africa, the Middle East and Israel.
Faerch Plast specialises in producing high performance plastic packaging for the food industry.
The company will focus on its core range of dual ovenable Crystalline Polyethylene Terephthalate (CPET) containers for frozen and chilled convenience meals in these markets.
CPET offers a wide temperature tolerance from -40°F degrees (-40°C) to 428°F degrees (220°C), for freezer-to-oven or microwave convenience which helps in removing negative effects on food flavour and aroma.
The company has also recently launched dual colour packs to help increase the shelf appeal of products. It has also developed frost trays that are shatter resistant at low temperatures.

Faerch Plast also plans to introduce containers produced from its innovative MAPET II mono material that are specially designed for packaging fresh meat, poultry and fish in its newly expanded territories. These packs are said to be cost-effective, secure and environmentally friendly than non-recyclable laminates.
