Russian Food Industry Is Looking for Investment

UBM Live, the organisers of Fi Europe, have partnered with RESTEC to announce the launch of Food ingredients Russia , to be held 27-29 April 2015 , in Moscow.

Russia currently imports 98.3% of its food ingredients for food production, according to a report by the RBC. The report also states the Russian food ingredients market is worth around €2.47 billion with consumer interests now shifting towards higher quality, natural and environmentally friendly foods.

Fi Russia, co-located with Health ingredients Russia and CPhI Russia, will provide a unique opportunity for the industry to further expand in this fast developing market by providing three leading specialised ingredient events, in one location.

The scale of food processing and formulation solutions in Russia is not quite at the level of its Western rivals in terms of the production and processing of ingredients, leaving large gaps in the market for food ingredients suppliers to develop within this billion euro industry. The success of launching Fi & Hi Russia is certain.

The event organisers, RESTEC, provides local market insight, together with the global market-leading organiser, UBM, brand owner of the Fi Global portfolio, guarantees that wherever they launch, the industry will follow. The Fi Global portfolio also holds a 310,000 member database of local and international buyers, providing each exhibitor with invaluable marketing power to target the ideal buyer for them.

As with every show in the Food ingredients portfolio, Fi Russia will incorporate high level content and features such as co-located conferences, networking events and a match-making service to provide each exhibitor and attendee with a smooth and successful entry into the Russian market.

athias Baur , Portfolio Director, Food ingredients Global, UBM Live comments: "A number of positive factors have created the ideal environment to launch Fi Russia. The Fi Global team is dedicated to providing the highest level platform to help our clients develop their business strategies and Moscow provides the ideal location for this launch show. We are very excited to be working with RESTEC and are extremely optimistic about the future of the fair!"

Fi & Hi Russia will be held 27-29 April 2015 at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC) in Moscow and it co-located with CPhI Russia 2015.
