Pharmaceutical company in the US, ULURU has completed the initial production of the Altrazeal 0.75g transparent blister pack.
The Altrazeal 0.75g blister pack, which completed test marketing in the US and Europe, incorporates an applicator within the blister design to assist the wound care professional to apply Altrazeal to a wound.
Besides the new design, the pack contains a suitable amount of product to treat smaller chronic wounds.
ULURU president and CEO Kerry Gray said the blister design provides an applicator for the product and optimizes the application of Altrazeal to the different wound types including diabetic foot ulcers and venous leg ulcers.
"This presentation further differentiates Altrazeal? in the advanced wound care market," Gray said.
According to ULURU, the blister pack has been shipped to Australia and will be introduced onto the US market soon.
