Rolls-Royce Has Recalled 27 Units of 2013 Model Year Phantom Vehicles

British manufacturer of super-luxury motor cars, Rolls-Royce has recalled 27 units of 2013 model year Phantom vehicles in the US, over a possible risk of fire.

The recall affects the cars manufactured from 02 November 2012 to 18 January 2013.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) the anti-misfueling device is missing in the vehicles leading to increased risk of fire.

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Product Communications manager Oleg Satanovsky was quote as saying by the AutoGuide.com, "Really our philosophy from designing your own car, to taking delivery to service should be as effortless as possible."

The automaker claims that about 72 Rolls-Royce Phantom models may have been affected by the problem across the globe.

In summer 2012, the company had recalled 60 units of the 2010 and 2011model-year Rolls Royce Ghost models over a fire problem.
