US-based agribusiness firm JR Simplot has launched new never fried frozen french fries – CravOn – for the retail market.
CravOn french fries are a range of never fried frozen french fries that are pre-cooked without flash frying. They contain 50% less fat than regular fries, said the company.
The new CravOn is available in four variant flavors such as Ripple Cut Fries, Steak Cut Fries, Diamond Cut and Anytime Diced Fries.
Commenting on the launch, CravOn Sales and Marketing director Gary Laney said that potatoes are nutrition rich and CravOn further improves the benefits of it and contains half the fat of regular fries.
CravOn, priced at $4.59 for a 2 lb. Bag, will be available in about 500 retail stores across greater Los Angeles.
