Mars Food UK that was established in Norfolk, UK, five decades ago will initiate a multi-million pound expansion.
The expansion of the plant at King's Lynn that prepares sauces is said to be in the early stages of planning and is expected to create new jobs, reports BBC.
Plans were announced by UK's Prime Minister David Cameron during trade and investment talks with US President Barack Obama.
Further, Cameron announced that 1,700 jobs will be created across the UK. However, Mars refused to disclose how many would be based at King's Lynn.
Though Mars hasn't disclosed how much would be invested at the plant, in a note it said: "We have been manufacturing from King's Lynn for over 50 years and continue our commitment to investing and growing the site."
