Packaging Automation (PA) has introduced its new single lane tray sealing machine at Foodex 2014 held from 24 to 26 March in Birmingham, UK.
The new Revolution, which includes interpolated multi axis robotic motion, has the ability to seal around 150 packs per minute.
According to the company, the fully electric machine operates without using any compressed air, featuring Powerdrive technology, according to PA.
In addition, the company also introduced its new SkinPAC technology, which is demonstrated on the eclipse SL4 fully electric tray sealer, at Foodex.
The third machine showcased at the event was the eclipse R, which is a hand turned rotary table sealer that is available with an automatic push button operated table.
Packaging Automation commercial director Sam Ashton said that Foodex is an ideal opportunity to demonstrate the company's pedigree in innovation.
"Our latest developments are the culmination of a massive team effort from a truly talented, passionate workforce that is committed to developing customer focused solutions," Ashton added.
