Indian auto maker Tata Motors has reported total sales of 65,582 vehicles including exports, commercial and passenger vehicles in December 2012.
The company sold a total 390,370 commercial vehicles in the domestic market in 2012 including 281,192 LCVs and combined sales of 109,178 units of MCVs and HCVs.
In December 2012, a total of 47,515 units of commercial vehicles were sold by the company including sales of 37,649 Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), mixed sales of 9,866 units of Medium Commercial Vehicles (MCVs) and Heavy Commercial Vehicles (HCVs).
During the month, the total sales of passenger vehicles reached 183,977, including 14,185 vehicles ranging between the Nano/ Indica/ Indigo.
The firm exported about 3,882 vehicles in December 2012, adding to 39,403 units exported during the year.
