Nissan Motor of North America announced that American sales were 80,919 vehicles in January, 2013, up 2% year on year. The sales were 79,313 vehicles in January last year.
In January of 2013, Nissan car American sales were 50,859 vehicles, down 0.8% compared to 51,262 vehicles of the same period last year. The trucks’ American sales were 30,060 vehicles in January, up 7.2% compared to 28,051 vehicles of the same period last year.
Nissan business department’s American sales reached 73,793 vehicles, rose 1.8% year on year, while the sales were 72,517 vehicles in January last year. Car sales grew 1.9% year on year to 47,631 vehicles, and truck sales increased 1.5% year on year to 26,162 vehicles.
Infiniti business department’s American sales increased 4.9% year on year to 7,126 vehicles. Car sales declined 28.5% year on year to 3,228 vehicles, and truck sales increased 71% year on year to 3,898 vehicles.
