US-based brewing company Stone Brewing has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of new 2016 Stone Imperial Russian stout.
The new stout is available in 22-ounce bottles, as well as on draft at bars, retailers and restaurants in markets where Stone beer is sold.
The new 2016 Stone Imperial Russian stout is bottled at 10.8% ABV and 65 IBUs.
Stone Brewing president, co-founder and original brewmaster Steve Wagner said: "With each year's release, we definitely work to make it taste fantastic on day one, but it's also a beer that ages wonderfully with time and becomes more complex.
"This has become a recipe that we don't mess with much or change dramatically year to year. I'm very proud of the reputation it has earned among craft beer enthusiasts."
The new stout features cocoa and coffee flavors along with bourbon-like oak notes, fruity fermentation esters and some yeasty breadiness. It appears in dark brown color with a deep tan head.
According to the brewer, the beer is extremely full bodied and smooth with a hint of alcohol heat.
The stout is available in the US, Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Panama, Philippines, Singapore, Sweden, Thailand and the UK.
