Volvo announced that it will be unveiling the new seven-seat SUV XC90 in August which will be packed with advanced safety features.
The car maker claims that its new XC90 to be one of the world's safest cars, because of its advanced safety features.
The safety cage is made of hot-formed boron steel for maximum occupant protection.
In addition, the new XC90 will include auto brake at intersection capability, which will automatically apply the break if the car comes in front of another oncoming vehicle, and a run-off road protection package, which will automatically tighten the seatbelts when the car goes off the road.
Volvo has incorporated a pre-crash protection in rear impacts that automatically tightens the safety belt, flashes lights to warn the driver driving behind and applies breaks to reduce the impact.
