Sports nutrition brand trusource has expanded its retail reach in the US besides introducing a new energy product range.
trusource will now sell its products at Target, Walgreens, HEB and Giant Eagle after launching them exclusively at Kroger stores.
trusource senior brand manager Nabil Wanna said: "We have received a terrific response to trusource and that is fueling our nationwide retail expansion. Consumers praise the taste and overall experience of trusource products and repeat purchase is strong.
"We created trusource to address an unmet need in the sports nutrition market. This is a brand for the everyday athlete, with easy-to-mix protein powders and delicious ready-to-drink products for anyone with a fitness goal."
The company has also added a new energy product range branded as Anytime Energy to its portfolio.
Formulated to provide amino acids and caffeine, the Anytime Energy products are claimed to assist in muscle recovery besides giving energy and focus.
It comes in both powder form and in ready-to-drink bottles. The Anytime Energy products are said to contain 100mg of caffeine with 10 calories per serving.
The powder form of Anytime Energy is currently available in Orange Blast flavor while a new flavor Watermelon Rush is slated to be rolled out in early 2017.
According to trusource, Anytime Energy ready-to-drink bottles come in two flavors Orange Blast and Fruit Punch.
Distributed by sports nutrition company Optimum Nutrition, trusource portfolio includes Anytime Protein, Anytime Energy and Protein Java, Protein+Energy and Anytime Energy powders and ready-to-drink Protein Water.
In December 2015, trusource had launched its products range, which consisted of four protein powders and ready-to-drink protein beverages, exclusively at Kroger stores.
