Anchor Brewing Set to Introduce Bigleaf Maple Autumn Red, on 5 August 2013

US-based Anchor Brewing is set to introduce a new fall seasonal beer, called BigLeaf Maple Autumn Red, on 5 August 2013.

The new beer is brewed by using caramel malts, pale malt and a blend of Nelson Sauvin, Citra, and Cascade hops.

The new coppery color beer includes hints of maple syrup and comes with 6% ABV.

Anchor Brewing brew master Mark Carpenter said that the brewers collaborated to develop a new seasonal beer for fall, and came up with red ale.

"We are very happy with the finished product, especially since we don't do test batches here at Anchor," Carpenter added.

BigLeaf Maple Autumn Red will be available in 6-packs and 22-oz bottles, as well as on draught in select bars and restaurants, and also at the brewery's taproom in San Francisco.
