Volvo is planning to introduce Volvo V60 Cross Country and the XC 90 at the 2014 Los Angeles Motor Show.
The new V60 is a Cross Country is a version of V60 sports wagon which is expected to be an upgraded version of the V60.
The car will be powered by five cylinder petrol engine capable of producing 250 horsepower, and is likely to provide all-wheel drive option along with automatic transmission to improve performance.
The car will also be available in Drive-E four-cylinder petrol engines with Front-Wheel Drive option upon its global release in 2015.
In comparison to the V60 the Cross Country version has increased ground clearance of 65 mm and it features 18" and 19" wheels coupled with high performance tires to provide added wheel protection.
Volvo's other flagship; the seven-seater XC90 will be unveiled to the U.S audience at the Auto show.
The car is based on the company's Scalable Product Architecture modular platform which is expected to be used in Volvo's future models.
It features 2.0-liter Drive-E engine capable of providing 316 horsepower and pumping 295 pound-feet of torque, and it will facilitates eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive .
The vehicle also features advanced safety features including Anti-skid system, integrated child booster cushions along with protective laminated glass.
