Czech automobile manufacturer SKODA has unveiled the Octavia Combi before its launch at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show to be held in Switzerland during 05-17 March 2013.
The engines of the vehicle are claimed to be 17% economical than its predecessor and will be available in four petrol and four diesel variants, while the GreenLine version offers fuel consumption of 3.4L/100km and CO2 emissions of 89g/km.
The new vehicle is claimed to be 90mm longer and 45mm wider than its previous version and has a boot space of 610L.
Features of the vehicle include the Adaptive Cruise Assistant, an automatic distance control, Intelligent Light Assistant, high-beam assistant and new generation of radio and radio-navigation systems.
The car comes with two C-shaped light strips in each taillight, double-sided floor mat, multiple bag hooks, waste bin, bottle holders, holder for multimedia devices, luggage compartment rollo cover and coat rack.
In addition the features of the hatch contain, the ice scraper in the fuel tank opening or the warning-vest holder under the driver's seat, remote fold-down function for the rear-seat backrest, and roof bars under the adjustable and retractable variable boot floor.
The company will also unveil its KODA Octavia Combi 4×4 with a newly developed all-wheel drive and 5th-generation Haldex clutch at Geneva 2013.
