Russel Metals Inc, one of the largest metals distribution company in North America, announced that the appointment of new Vice President and Chief Operating officer be Mr John G Reid. Mr John initially started with JMS Metals Sercies Inc in 1991 and was promoted to President in 1994 and become President of the Company’s JMS Russel Metals operations since 1997. He has also taken on additional responsibilities within the Russel Metals group of companies since 2009. President & CEO pf Rissel Metals, Mr Brian Hedges said his industry experience and people oriented approach was evidenced when they acquired JMS. This appointment is recognition of the role he fills for the Company.
