Bra Plast AB, a Swedish specialist in injection molded containers, has chosen the BorPure RJ766MO, a random PP copolymer, for thin wall food packaging.
According to the firm, BorPure RJ766MO provides a favorable drop impact resistance and stackability with load resistance, while the grade also saves on energy usage and provides for faster cycle time at lower processing temperatures.
As the molded material should be able to floe well, BorPure RJ766MO was developed with a melt flow rate (MFR) of 70, which is considered high, the firm said.
Bra Plast AB claims it has fulfilled the need for low odor and low taste food packaging requirements through the BorPure RJ766MO.
Bra Plast AB manager Tommy Larsson said just being economical for production was not enough.
"All criteria must be met consistently; our reputation for being able to deliver large quantities of high quality packaging at very short notice depends on it. This latest addition to the BorPure product family supports us in bringing easily reproducible, improved organoleptic packaging solutions to our customers." added Larsson.
